Enterprise Social Network - A Tool For Improving Collaboration, Performance Climate And Competitiveness Of Organizations?
Original language description
Modern society is a community of information. Therefore information and information technologies increase their share in the control of companies, and it is obvious that this trend cannot be avoided. Since it is not easy to get a clear picture of enterprise social networks, as so far no comprehensive knowledge has been accumulated in this field, the objective of this paper is to analyse the research/studies accomplished to this day focusing on three main aspects of enterprise social networks: collaboration, performance climate and competitiveness, on the basis of comparative quantitative research, empiric generalization and interpretation of the results of the research/studies executed to this day. The following discussion will deal not only with the concerns arising due to the implementation of the enterprise social network and present a scheme for the follow-up research.
