The paper deals with possibilities of position increasing of the railway transport in city agglomerations by application of integrated transport systems. The capacity types of mass transport, especially rail transport, are preferred to road and especially individual transport in these systems. There is dependence to optimizing of number of lines and system quality increasing by modernizing of transport means and transport infrastructure.
