The paper deals with the EMC problems of the individual traction drive of tram wheel. The drive, which is placed in the testing stand, utilizes permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Nowadays when these control methods are mastered the considerationis focused particularly on interference of designed converter of this drive to environment in which are located other devices and to supply network as well. The particular working modes of drive and their interference of spectra are demonstrated in thispaper. Findings, which are deduced from analysis of measurements, will lead to next steps for reducing of this interference.
