Original language description
The paper deals with access to application of simulation models in the railway transport, especially in the field of interactions between transport operation and infrastructure. The extended possibilities (based on utilizing of simulation models) for estimation of infrastructure are mentioned in the paper. The main part of the paper is focused on presentation of the proposed complex procedure for dimensioning of the railway infrastructure extent based on results of simulation. The selected criterions and some other aspects regarding to infrastructure estimation in the point of view of transport technology are also mentioned in the paper.
