The Approach to Creation of Computational Models of Tires for Stress-Strain Analyses and Possibilities in Verification Analyses with Experiments
Original language description
The paper deals with approach of computational modeling of tires, which is oriented on the stress-strain analyses of tire-road interaction. The authors used the Finite Element Method (FEM) program ANSYS for computation. The combination of computational modeling with experimental approach is used for prediction real states of tires. The experiments of tires are necessary for verification analyses between computations by FEM and test data. The statical deformation characteristics of whole tires are necessary for verification analyses too. These data can be obtained from experiments by special test machine called statical adhesor. The creation computational models of tires are universal so "opened" for dynamic, thermal and modal analyses and their combination is possible.
