PRELIMINARY EXPERIMENTS WITH A TANK VEHICLE AS A BACKGROUND FOR ROLLOVER STABILITY RESEARCH
Original language description
One of the main research areas carried out by the section of road vehicles of the department of transport means and diagnostic is rollover stability. A mathematical model of a tank vehicle including the influence of sloshing liquid is being developed atthe department. The model is going to be used for a description of dynamic rollover treshold and connected processes. The article describes preliminary experiments carried out by the section of road vehicles of the department of transport means with a heavy tank vehicle Tatra T 148 CAP. The experiments were used to acquire basic data for the model and to prove functionality and usability measurement and test methods proposed for the main set of experiments. The article describes methods for the determination of the vertical position of the vehicle centre of gravity, for the determination of the vehicle roll moment of inertia, for finding conversion ratios of physical quantities for indirect measurement methods and measurement methods ch
