DETAILED ANALYSIS OF ACCELERATION SIGNAL MEASURED ON THE WHEELSET AXLE BOX IN THE COURSE OF PASSING
Original language description
The paper deals with an extended analysis of the acceleration signal measured on an wheelset axle box of a vehicle passing over a turnout frog area, i.e. 5m distance where a wheel is leaving a wing rail and running to a frog tip. It is a place of happening of increased dynamical response of the vehicle. The measured acceleration signal is characterized by a specific character there in comparison with e.g. straight track. The analysis is concentrated to several fields. A method of the acceleration sensing, a possibility and a necessity of the signal procesing and factors influenced the character of the signal is under investigation. Results of the made analysis shows that the vertical accelerate signals measured on the wheelset axle boxes during passingof the vehicle over the turnout frog area and processed in the same way are unchangeable. Only a peak-to-peak distance is changing in dependence on a weight of the experimental vehicle, a speed and a direction of passing over the turnout
