In this chapter 13, the influence of both rubber blends and rubber composites on the tire safety is explored. The special attention is paid to the influence of breaker angle on tire deformation and potential risks resulting from improper breaker construction and rubber blend. The chapter presents the large scale view on the problem of tire safety concluding materials aspects, damage and experimental testing of tires and tire components materials.
