    Commercial CW Doppler Radar Design and Application

  • Original language description

    In this paper CW Doppler radar design and application are presented. The impact of a wide antenna main lobe on the received signal is demonstrated, based on the developed received signal model. Then a design of an active antialiasing filter and a signal processing technique using an OS- CFAR algorithm are describe. Also a simple algorithm for target resolution and its speed estimation is introduced. Experimental results comparing two radar sensors, supplemented with our own signal processing hardware, are shown in the last paragraph. This confirm the antenna effect on the radar signal behavior.
