    This article describes the practicalimplementation of the IO-Link master bridge, which ensure aninterface between IO-Link devices and a main controllingcomputer. The main effect of this implementation is a simpledata acquisition system based on a microcontroller that enablesan easy expansion of many connected IO-Link devices.Concerning universal usage, the communication between theIO-Link master bridge and the computer works on standardUART units. Main computer and IO-Link master bridgesinterconnection ensure optocouplers. Thus, this methodguarantees galvanic isolation firstly and easy expansion by theopen collector technique secondly.
