    Towers, chimneys and bridge memebers of circular, square, I- or H-section may be sesceptible to wind-induced vibrations, particularly under the action of shed vortices. In the article the modern trend of complex multiphysical computing has been observed.Based on CFD, a special computation of the velocity field surrounding the structure has been carried out. The reduction of harmonic forces using helical strake system consists of three thin rectangular strakes on circular cylinder is shown on performedCFD calculation.
