Within the presented papaer modla analysis of steel tank is proceeding. Computataional model of a tank is compiled within the base plate and Winkler model of sub-grade. Fluid region is modeled with brick elements which are derived from the Euler theory.Modal analysis of steel tank containing the fluid and empty tank is performed. Base on the modal analysis the consistent mode frequencies and mode shapes are compared.
