Composition and mechanical-fracture properties valuee of lime plasters with four different sorts of slaked lime modified by metakaolin are presented in this paper. The content of microcracks and estimate their propagation are quantified. The results arecompared with the properties of lime plaster based on slaked lime and metakaolin addition. Plasters with different sorts of lime and the same amount of metakaolin admixture showed out a variant resistance against crack initiation and propagation.
