The paper is focused on some problems of the actual behavior and load-carrying capacity of steel-concrete members composed of high-strength steel (HSS) and high-performance concrete (HPC). In this paper is basic illustrative information about theoreticalanalysis for the partially encased HEA-section. It is observed the actual behavior of high-strength steel-concrete members under compression in elastoplastic stage and their comparison with numerical results.
