Original language description
This paper deals with time stability verification of solidificates characteristics because its durability is a fundamental factor that determines the success of its disposal. Solidificate samples were made of selected types of hazardous waste and they were subjected to definite tests after 28 days after their manufacturing and then after two years. Afterwards obtained results were compared and evaluated. Among the physic-mechanical tests were solidificates subjected to compressive strength test that presents the solidificates ability to withstand certain mechanical load. Next laboratory testing was subjecting the solidificates to leaching test that characterizes the solidificates ability to release toxic pollutants into the environment. The laboratorytesting also deals with study of solidificate microstructure.
