Variance Based Sensitivity Analysis of Interactive Buckling
Original language description
Interactions amongst input random imperfections and their influence on the ultimate limit state of steel frame structures are analyzed in the present paper. The interactions are studied on the basis of global sensitivity analysis. The objective of thesestudies is to examine how change of boundary conditions becomes evident in the influence of input imperfections on the load-carrying capacity. Sobols variance-based methods were applied. The results of sensitivity analysis, probabilistic verification ofthe reliability of steel structures and of the possibilities of reliability optimization are presented in the conclusion of this paper.
