  • Original language description

    This paper gives the results of electrical impedance measurements obtained in a beach sand. The measurements were carried out in southern Spain, on Carchuna beach (Granada). Electrical impedance was measured by a device called Z-meter III. This method was applied to find out the changes in the electrical conductivity of soils. The saline water character close to the shoreline increases the conductivity obtained in the measurements. The possibility of using the new device for sand water regime monitoringwas tested during these experiments.
