Electrical impedance reconstruction measured by modified electrical impedance spectrometry
Original language description
Electrical impedance characterizes the properties of an material when passing through an alternating electric current. The paper describes reconstruction of electrical impedance measured by multi-electrode resistive method of impedance spectrometry extended to electrical impedance tomography with Z-meter IV device in laboratory conditions. The measurement was carried out on the physical model of cylinder with a drinking water. To this environment was placed an asymmetrically glass, which represented an anomaly in the environment. The Z-meter device was used to measuring the components (real and imaginary) of electrical impedance of a given environment at a frequency of 8 kHz. Then values of the electrical impedance were plotted to the Surfer program, where reconstruction of the electrical impedance was carried out by means of triangulation with linear interpolation.
