Original language description
The monitoring of the shape of the seepage curve and seepage in earth-fill dams is one of the principal activities in relation to their safe operation. In the event of recording its unacceptable values, it is necessary to consider dam remediation. One of the progressive methods which could be used in the given area is BioSealing. In the Czech Republic the BioSealing method was first applied to the earth-fill dam of the Hornice water reservoir in 2015; in this year the application was repeated under a different operating state. In addition to other methods, the course of the application was also monitored, using the method of electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS). This paper presents selected results obtained from monitoring using the EIS method.
