IDENTIFICATION OF THE FACTORS WHICH INFLUENCE ON THE ACCURACY OF THE SOIL MOISTURE VALUES MEASURED BY “Z-METER”
Original language description
The contribution presents the results of the measurements of electrical impedance (Rx, Xx), volumetric soil moisture and soil texture. The measurements have been performed in the Eastern Slovakia Lowland. The authors of the contribution assumed that the correlation between the positive and negative components of electrical impedance is influenced, among other factors, by the grain-size soil fractions. The measurements have been performed in the vertical soil profile, comprising different soil environment, in the depths between 10 cm and 30 cm under the ground. Based on the field measurements and correlation analysis, the relations between the investigated elements have been determined.
