THE INFLUENCE OF THE DRILLING ANGLE, DIRECTION AND LOCATION USING A RESISTOGRAPH DETECTION DRILL ON THE MEASUREMENT AND ASSESSMENT RESULTS OF STRUCTURAL WOOD
Original language description
This article focuses on the method of evaluating measured results using the Rinntech RESISTOGRAPH R650-EA detection drill. The drilling direction with the detection drill is crucial for assessing the internal condition of structural wood. The recommended drilling direction is perpendicular to the grain (radial). The conducted experiment demonstrates how to correctly interpret the measured values of resistance drilling. The article briefly describes the impact of the drilling location on the plotted curve and the role of resistance value. Last but not least, the study investigates whether the angle at which measurements are taken affects the determined values. In this case, a resistance characteristic was selected for comparing dependencies.
