Original language description
The paper contributes to the application area of genetic algorithms in optimisation of mechatronic systems. Variable parameters of active auxilliary mass damping system have been optimised based on the root-mean-square level of the system´s transmissibility. Absorber concerns passive non-linear spring and damper and active electromagnetic moving-coil actuator. Numerical experiments have been performed on two different structures. Experimental results and appropriate genetic algorithm´s settings are presented and analysed. Obtained results are promising and encourage further extension of this class of applications.
