  • Original language description

The topic of this paper is theoretical consideration on utilization of light scattering for measurement of surface roughness. The correlation of laser speckle fields generated by light of two different wavelengths, which illuminates investigated randomlyrough surface is used. The solution of the problem within the framework of the scalar Kirchhoff theory of wave scattering from rough surfaces is presented. The Fresnel approximation in description of the scattered wave is used.
