Digital laser speckle spectral correlation within the famework of the Fresnel approximation of the scalar Kirchhoff theory and its application in surface roughness measurement
Original language description
Correlation of laser speckle fields generated by light of two different wavelengths, which illuminates succesively a randomly rough surface, is solved theoretically within the framework of the scalar Kirchhoff theory of wave scattering from random roughsurfaces. The Fresnel approximation is used in description of scattered wave. The solution is used for surface roughness measurement by means of the digital processing of corresponding specklegrams.
