Numerical simulation and experiments describing the behaviour of BCC steels at high strain rates

Result description

The paper deals with mathematical models of BCC material flow stress, reflectin the influence of high strain rates and temperature. The Johnson-Cook´s constitutive equation was proved to be very suitable for strain rate range 1 to 1000 1/s. The definition of equation parameters was based on the impact Taylor test.
