As a results of the aims of the Research centre for Machine Engineering Manufacturing Technology and Equipment and Subtask No.3: Automatic Manipulation at Work Stations in Manufacturing Systems work is in progress on the research, development, design, construction of the VUTBOT 2 autonomous locomotive - mobile robot. This contribution summarizes the partial results accomplished in the field of design and construction of the machineware, hardware, software and brainware in 2003 and concentrates on followwing: - kinematics model of real engineering product - multi-processor control system - control system submodules
