UNIQUE WAYS OF GENERATING ENERGY FROM SURROUNDINGS AS AUTONOMOUS SOURCES OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY

  • Original language description

This paper deals with overview of unique ways of generating energy from surroundings. These ways of generating energy are commonly called as Energy Harvesting and this source can be used for autonomous feeding of remote electronics, low power devices andwireless sensors. The source of an ambient energy is available in the form of radiation (solar or RF radiation), thermal energy and mechanical energy. The energy harvesting device generates electric energy from its surroundings using some energy conversion method. This paper is focused on energy harvesting from mechanical energy.
