    This paper deals with computational simulations of a composite material with rubber matrix and steel fibres. The computational simulations were realized at various levels of computational models and results were compared with experiments. For simulationstwo different levels were used - bimaterial and unimaterial. The main aim of this paper is to ascertain whether the unimaterial computational model can be used instead of the bimaterial one.
