On the Level of Computational Models in Biomechanics Depending on Gained Data from Ct/Mri and Micro-Ct
Original language description
The article is focused on dependence level of computational models in human biomechanics on input information obtained mostly from CT, MRI and micro-CT. From history it is generally known a benefit of information, that Roentgen provided to doctors, thanks to his invention of X ray. Imaging methods in these days provide enough special options for biomechanics to create computational models. The article deals with a concrete solution to some of these problems, e.g. creation of geometry model by image processing method. Software STL Model Creator was programmed to provide a simple creation of these models. The software algorithm and its control are briefly described in this paper. Models obtained in this way can be used for creation of computational models on very high scientific level and with their help to study, e.g. the mechanical interaction of dental implants with a bone.
