THE ESTIMATION OF THE PROPERTIES OF THE PARTICULATE COMPOSITE
Original language description
The main aim of this article is the numerical investigation of the tensile properties of the particulate composite. The composite is modeled as a two-phase continuum (with respect representative volume element) and numerically simulated on a microscopicscale using finite elements method (ANSYS). For calculations of the global characteristics (i.e. Young modulus) the finite element model with respect the elastic-plastic model of polymer matrix (polypropylene) is used. The final results with experimentaldata are confirmed as well as the data for modeling primary matrix from experiment was determinate.
