Influence of used technology (die casting and local squeeze casting) on the structural and mechanical properties of engine block from AlSi9Cu3
Original language description
This article examines the influence of used technology on the structural and mechanical properties of die casting engine block. Cast material is AlSi9Cu3. There were compared the technology of die casting and local squeeze casting. Evaluating mechanicalproperties were - Tensile strength Rm and Yield strength Rp0,2. Among the structural characteristics were selected porosity P and sphericity factor s. The resulting values were statistically evaluated and transformed into graphs.
