Original language description
This project deals with the design of a hydraulic reapers drive unit and the realization of its working prototype. The unit is designed with freelance wheel drive and continual change of speed and direction. A part of the drive unit is a remote control,primarily used for control of movement and mowing. The concept design, fulfilling all requirements for building a prototype and its subsequent testing, was created based on a research analysis. Engineering design was performed in Autodesk Inventor 2012.The final prototype was built by a sponsoring company. Components were chosen with regard to their functionality, quality and cost.
