Comparison of Pressure Swirl Hollow-Cone and Full-Cone Atomizers for Spray Column Application
Original language description
The full-cone (FC) and hollow-cone (HC) pressure swirl atomizers are most used atomizers for CO2 scrubbing in spray columns [1]. The creation of fine, monodisperse droplets and their uniform distribution into the ambient environment plays a crucial role for process efficiency. This study compares FC and HC tomizers and their suitability to spray column applications.
