    For the measurement and computer simulation a number of typical products of grey iron were selected, weighing 14 to 40 kg. Results of both experimental measurements and computer simulation using SIMTEC program show agreement in minimum internal stresseswhen the recommended method of releasing casting from moulds was used in the production.
