Original language description

Overall situation in waste treatment in the Czech Republic including substantial changes during last years is described. A present status and outlook of waste management is shown. Further, utilisation of heat from incineration and the treatment of wastesfrom incinerators (off-gas cleaning systems and processing of solid wastes) are described. Examples of incinerators from industrial practice are shown (a multi-purpose incinerator for processing solid wastes, incineration unit for treatment of sludge originating in the pulp and paper plant, incinerator for treatment of exhaust gases from plastics production).
