Original language description
In the paper a quotient-difference algorithm of Rutishauser is utilized to improve a FFT-based method for a numerical inverse Laplace transformation (NILT). The algorithm accelerates a convergence of a complex Fourier series replacing it by a continued fraction. Compared to an e?algorithm used earlier the q-d algorithm is more numerically stable giving the same results in a practical way.
