Original language description
The expression ?compensation? means electric equipment determined for the compensation of inductive reactive power. Compensation proper is placed in the compensation switchboard. Compensation usually consists of several capacitors ? compensation degrees.Each degree consists of a compensation capacitor of particular power, controlled by contactors or contactless switches and protection of the respective degree. The compensation switchboard is fitted with logic, which is responsible for connecting the reequired number of compensation degrees.
