Original language description
The contribution deals with the European Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) standard channel coding using the forward error corrections with interleaving. The relevant methods of error protection in the transmission of digital television are introduced, the possible error rates are presented and the simulation tasks in Matlab are mentioned too. The whole model for DVB channel coding is used for research work that investigates the influence of the FECs parameters on the transmitted digital image that correesponds to CCIR ITU-R601 recommendation.
