Original language description
The contribution deals with the European Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) standard channel coding using the forward error correction (FEC1) by block Reed-Solomon coding. The relevant method of error outer protection in the transmission of digital television is introduced, the possible error rates are presented and the block diagrams of simulation tasks are mentioned too. The whole model for DVB channel coding FEC1 is used for research work that investigates the influence of the FEC1 parameters on the trransmitted digital image that corresponds to CCIR ITU-R601 recommendation.
