A novel algorithm for output-error identification of mimo state-space models
Original language description
In this paper, a new approach to the problem of state-space identification is introduced. The family of closed-loop output-error algorithms is considered as a starting point. These algorithms allow to estimate the parameters of an ordinary black-box model, utilizing the closed-loop identification scheme. In order to identify various state-space plant models, the closed-loop output-error method is expanded here. No emph{a priori} restrictions are imposed on the form off state-space representations, which enables direct estimation of physical parameters. A novel recursive parameter adaptation algorithm is proposed for this purpose. Its function is illustrated in two simple simulation experiments which involve closed-loop identification of a SISO model and open-loop identification of a MIMO model. In addition, its application to closed-loop identification of a MIMO model of DVD drive is presented.
