Relaxation and resistance in high-temperature insulation in frequency and temperature domain
Original language description
The subject of the studies is the behaviour of high-temperature mica-based insulation prior to ageing, in the as-delivered state. Presented are the temperature and frequency dependence of both real and imaginary parts of the complex permittivity and thetemperature dependence of the DC resistance. The observations are interpreted in terms of relaxation and conduction processes in the insulation and an attempt is made to suggest microscopic phenomena underlying the experimental results.
