Prototype of Five-fingered Prosthetic Hand; EMG Based Control Scheme and Novel Mechanical Principle
Original language description
The article describes fundamental ideas of a design and developments of a mechanical principle used for building up a real prosthetic (robotic) device. Basic preliminary control scheme, using as input signals EMG, was designed and verified. For processing of EMG the continuous wavelet transform has been used and as pattern recognition component feed forward ANN with back propagation learning algorithm is applied. Some further innovative ideas are presented as well as definitely novel concept of mechanical principle that will be used inside of new generation device.
