In this paper we introduce and study the notion of mutual compactificability. Two topological spaces are mutually compacificable if there exists a compact topology on their disjoint union in which the original topologies are induced from the union and every two points from different components of the union have disjoint neighborhoods.

Czech description
V této práci zavádíme a studujeme pojem vzájemné kompaktifikovatelnosti toologických prostorů. Dva topologické prostory jsou vzájemně kompaktifikovatelné, jestliže na jejich disjunktním sjednocení existuje kompaktní topologie, v níž jsou původní topologie na obou prostorech topologiemi indukovanými a libovolné dva body z různých komponent tohoto sjednocení mají navzájem disjunktní okolí.
