    Localization of the Optic Nerve Head in Colour Fundus Images

    This paper describes a new approach to detection of the optic nerve head in color fundus images. Presented method uses red, green and blue channel and is based on the combination of Hough transform, active contour and morphological operations. The detected contours are evaluated and quantitatively compared with the contour drawn by experienced ophthalmologist.
