This paper is dealt with possibility using adaptive LQ controller with identification based on neural network to air flow control in hot air tunnel model. The comparing of simulations results between classical recursive least mean square method and neural networks identification is here. Adaptive LQ controller algorithm is implemented in Matlab/Simulink. PLC Bernecker and Rainer (B&R) is used to communication between MATLAB/Simulink and real hot air model. Process Visualization Interface (PVI) is used to connection between Matlab/Simulink and PLC. Real air flow model is. Neural network identification is with Levenberg-Marquardt learning algorithm.
