Interference in narrow band PLC is discussed in the paper. In power lines, interference gratly affects the attainable data rate and reliability. The spectrum of signals measured for different interferecne sources is shown and thus potential problems in communication can be inferred and possibilities of improving data transfer in given area of PLC can be focused on.
