This paper deals with the picture quality analysis in digital television systems with MPEG-2 video compression. It was measured and analyzed picture quality based on the DVQLW (Digital Video Quality Level Weighted) metric in the DVB-T. Results were evaluated and their example for DVB-T and its Multiplex 1 is contained in this paper.
