Original language description

The contribution deals with the measurement and evaluation of picture and video quality focused to the area of digital television (DTV) systems and Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) standard that becomes very topical in context with the terrestrial pilotprojects in CR. The requirements for picture and video quality testing are introduced. The subjective and objective quality evaluation measurements and methods of evaluation are presented including the conclusion of their comparison and applicability.
