The Design of a Thermoelectric Generator
Original language description
While applications of Peltier cells for thermoelectric cooling or warming are widely commented in a contemporary literature, the data useful for the design of a power thermoelectric generator must be sought for in older sources. This contribution does not explain the physical nature of thermoelectric effect. The paper is focused on the analysis of operation of modern semiconductor thermoelectric converters, summarises useful information found in a special-ised literature, and describes the possibilitiesof determination of material properties necessary for the design of thermoelectric generators.
