Fully Differential Universal Filter with Differential and Adjustable Current Followers and Transconductance Amplifiers
Original language description
A novel fully-differential (F-D) filter working in the current mode is presented in this contribution. The filter was designed by the transformation of the single-ended (S-E) structure and is universal. The final structure consists of only three F-D active elements, the first of them is a Fully-Differential Current Follower (FD-CF) and the other two are transconductance amplifiers (OTA) with multiple current outputs (MOTA). Natural frequency is easily tuned by the transconductance of MOTA elements. Thefilter is of the SIMO type and with a low-impedance input node and high-impedance outputs. The characteristics of designed filter were verified by simulation using a third-level model of the UCC-N1B 0520 element, which can operate (among other things) asan OTA element, and a FD-CF model that is included in this contribution.
